A lot of venues ban the use of floating baits, but they are effective this time of the year. The rig I use on my pole is a hair rig tied using a knot-less knot a thin slice cut from hollow elastic fastened on the end to pull into a drilled dog biscuit with a baiting needle, no float just suspend it to the water carp can\'t resist it. I've used pop up neon sweetcorn on a freeline with good effect. I might be ugly but just check out my empty bank account! |
