having being asked over the last few weeks by numerous anglers to do another match this year
we have thought long and hard , and this is what we have come up with
we are going to run a mystery pairs match under the BIG BASH banner ,, details below
MYSTERY PAIRS MATCH
SAT 18TH OCT 2008
GARBALINO LINDHOLME LAKES
£25 ALL IN INCLUDING POOLS AND PEGGING FEES
ROLLING DRAW FROM 8AM DRAW FISH 10-30 - 3-30
(break down of entry money £11 to charity : £4 pegging fee: £10 pools )
PAYOUTS AS FOLLOWS BASED ON 100 ANGLERS
£25 per man = £2,500
£4 pegging fees
£11 donated to breast cancer care = £1,100
£10 pools = £1000
10 man sections(10) £40 per section = £400
PAIRS PAYOUT (split between the pair )
1st £200
2nd £170
3rd £130
4th £100
£1,000 total payout.
WE ARE GOING TO RUN A SMALL RAFFLE SO IF YOU CAN, WOULD YOU PLEASE BRING A SMALL PRIZE WITH YOU FISHING OR NONE FISHING , THAT WOULD BE GREAT , IT ALL HELPS
HOW THE PAIRS WILL WORK
we will book pegs for this on a pre paid basis , a cheque for £11 will see your peg confirmed ,
all cheques made payable to BREAST CANCER CARE ,
you pay your pools money and pegging fees on the day £14
two weeks before the match my wife will lock herself away in a sealed room ( i wish ) and make the draw for the pairs , we feel this is the fairest way to do this ,
ALL CHEQUES MADE PAYABLE TO BREAST CANCER CARE

The recent big bash went down with great success and over £7,100 was raised for breast cancer research.
