I drew peg 2 on the outer not a peg I like about 2 1/2 foot deep in the margin, on my left reeds stretching 6 mtr straight out in front, on my right the marginal reeds looked messy the way they fell over into the swim. Tried up to 10 mtr still the same depth, fed pellets at 8 mtr for 1 hour nothing, came to the end of the reeds nothing, where I'd fed the margin to my right the reeds were twitching a little a bit soon to go over it but no fish after 2 1/2 hours could'nt resist any longer, first drop disaster a carp took me straight into the reeds! gone, a change to 12-20 dual core & .19 line 15 minutes later another 4ld then one 3ld then the swim died weighed 6 14oz, top weight 38ld peg42, 40 second 36ld 45 third, a good day tho & learnt a bit.
